The Character
Following the September 29th release of The Wise Man comes the second film in the Sculpted in Time series, The Character, which showcases the Lake Louise Ski Resort.
You are shaped by everything that you see and experience and that’s what your life becomes.
Released on October 6th, The Character follows talented local skier Eric ‘Hoji’ Hjorleifson as he guides us through the dramatic landscapes of Lake Louise, recounting how meeting different characters on varying aspects of the mountain have shaped his own character, and nurtured a humble attitude. Throughout the film, the Lake Louise Ski Resort is depicted through a splendid mix of vintage photography and amazing high-definition aerials.
Filmed by award winning Sherpas Cinema, the Sculpted in Time series is compiled of four short films that capture the deep spirit of skiing in Banff National Park’s three ski resorts of Mt. Norquay, the Lake Louise Ski Resort and Sunshine Village, as well as presenting a deep dive into backcountry skiing in the park.
Watch the preview for the third film in the series, The Artist due to be released on Monday, October 13th. The fourth and final film in the series, The Innovator, will be released on October 20th.
