Winter is here! Significant snow arrives in Banff & Lake Louise

Winter has officially arrived in Banff National Park! This week, the first major snowfall arrived at all SkiBig3 resorts; Banff Sunshine, Lake Louise Ski Resort, and Mt. Norquay with Lake Louise recording an impressive 29cm in just 48 hours. To add to the excitement, it is also snowing in the snow globe towns of Banff and Lake Louise.

As the ski resorts begin to build up their bases and prepare for the upcoming season, Mt. Norquay and Lake Louise have fired up their snow cannons, whilst Banff Sunshine has started snow farming, eagerly anticipating the arrival of skiers and snowboarders. The countdown to opening day has begun, and we can’t wait to hit the slopes.
