The Lake Louise Resort is back with the Heavy Metal Rail Jam! This is an all-ages, ski and snowboard rail jam event. They have cash and prizes to give out, sponsored by Smith Optics, UNLTD Skate & Snow, FRESH Skis, & Burton!

- Open to skiers & riders of all ages.
- Choose any combination of rails and boxes in the Smith Optics line.
Contest Rules
- A valid lift ticket or pass will be required to participate.
- A signed event waiver for the Heavy Metal Rail Jam.
- Please ski & ride within your ability level.
- Helmets are mandatory.
Categories
Prizes will be awarded to first, second & third place in each category. Each category must have a minimum of 3 entrants to be eligible for prizes, so encourage your friends!
- Men’s Ski (16+).
- Men’s Snowboard (16+).
- Women’s Ski (16+).
- Women’s Snowboard (16+).
- Boys Ski (15 & under).
- Boys Snowboard (15 & under).
- Girls Ski (15 & under).
- Girls Snowboard (15 & under).
Judging Criteria
We are looking for the following criteria when judging. Please ski or ride to your ability level.
- Control.
- Fluidity.
- Creativity.
- Style/Technique.
Bibs and Gear
Competitor bibs will be worn during this event. A $40 Cash Deposit will be required during check-in; you will receive this back when the bib is returned! Helmets are mandatory.

We will be offering vouchers for 20% off on the purchase of your lift ticket. Please see the Check-In desk on the morning of the event. Or, you can purchase a discounted ticket when you register online.
Heavy Metal Rail Jam Event Schedule
- 8:00am – 9:30am: Registration in Whisky Jack Cafeteria.
- 9:30am – 2:45pm: Boulevard Park.
- 3:30pm – 4:00pm: Awards on Whisky Jack Deck
